Rasheed Bank is the second top state-owned bank in Iraq. It was established in 1988 under Law (#52). It became a state public company under State Company Law (#22,1997). It is subject to supervision of both  the Central Bank of Iraq and Board of Supreme Audit .
Its By-Laws (#7,1998) defined its objectives as supporting national economy in areas of commercial banking, funds’ investment and provision of finance to various sectors according to development plans and planning resolutions.
We have 151 branches all over Iraq.

Our mission: Contributing in developing Iraqi economy by providing integrated banking services of high quality based on the key  international standards.

Due to our business requirements and to have firm control and prevent manipulations, guarantor salary acknowledgment letters of state institutions for guarantee should state name of borrower to be guaranteed, so as to prevent exploiting it for another borrower and for all credit activities (loans, microloan, other projects’ lending…etc.).



COURSES FOR BANKING SERVICE MARKETERS


The Bank seeks at adopting many activities related to its objectives and mission. Based on the principle of grading Bank performance, Rasheed Bank administration; through Statistics and Research Dept., Banking Marketing Div. and under supervision of the department head and division manager, set instruction of training banking service marketers at the bank branches (at Baghdad as a first phase) on marketing methods and aproaches of dealing with customers to cope with the current situation of our bank. The Bank library is a competent one aiming at providing appropriate information, conveying them to beneficiaries and building balanced sets of books and other references so as to support research activities and provide them to researchers and beneficiaries, using appropriate restoring means used by the library and applying a software of the library (Library System).
